It is organised by the PMI Mongolia Chapter, an official branch of the Project Management Institute, dedicated to advancing the practice, science and profession of project management.

President, PMI Mongolia Chapter
Javkhlant Ganbaatar is President of the PMI Mongolia Chapter for the 2026–2027 term. Since 2022 he has also contributed to the chapter as Director of Professional Development and Director of Stakeholder Relations.
His previous leadership and professional roles include Head of the Digital Transformation Department at Capitron Bank JSC, Chief Executive Officer of Mongolia Talent Network, part-time lecturer in project management at the University of Finance and Economics, Chief Operating Officer of Invescore NBFI JSC, and Head of Product Development Unit, Senior Project Manager and Senior Account Manager at the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia.

An active member of PMI for over 20 years, Teresa (Terri) Knudson began her second term on the PMI Board of Directors in 2025 and chairs its 2026 Governance Committee.
She is a distinguished project management leader with over 38 years of experience delivering transformative results in complex, enterprise-wide initiatives. At Mayo Clinic she spearheaded the transition to automated billing and administration systems, the implementation of the first electronic health record, the establishment of the enterprise resource planning system, and the construction of two proton beam therapy cancer treatment facilities.
Recognising the need for structured project and portfolio management, she founded the Mayo Clinic Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), which earned global recognition as PMI’s 2023 PMO of the Year. After a decade at its helm she established and led Mayo Clinic’s Strategy Management Services division, redefining how strategy services support organisational goals.
Throughout her career she has held leadership roles across strategic planning, finance, IT, internal audit and operations, and has been recognised with awards in teamwork, quality and change management. Now retired, she focuses on volunteering, consulting, travel and time with family.

Tumentsogt (Tumen) Tsevegmid is the Honorary President of the PMI Mongolia Chapter, Board Chairman of the Business Council of Mongolia and a Board Member of the Future Energy Mongolian Hydrogen Council.
A senior executive with more than 30 years in the public and private sectors, he has served as CEO of Erdenes Mongol, the sovereign wealth corporation that manages the Government’s strategic mining assets; Board Director at Oyu Tolgoi; team leader for investment lending projects at the World Bank; the executive responsible for Mongolia operations at General Electric; and Commissioner at Mongolia’s Energy Regulatory Commission. He has over 20 years of experience managing and implementing projects with multiple clients and donors.
His infrastructure work includes developing Mongolia’s first grid-connected wind park, Salkhit (50 MW); representing shareholders on the Oyu Tolgoi Board and dealing with the financing and construction of the underground mine and benefit-sharing discussions with the Government; and managing investment lending projects in renewables, power and water at the World Bank/IDA.
He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. His expertise covers project management, investment lending, project preparation and finance, power sector regulation, regional energy cooperation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, urban infrastructure and social and environmental safeguards.

Uyanga Batmunkh holds an MBA degree from the University of Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. She currently serves as Superintendent within the Underground Project Management team at Oyu Tolgoi LLC, where she leads project management and PMO services for complex technology programs and capital projects that support the successful delivery of Underground Operations.
Uyanga joined Oyu Tolgoi LLC in 2018 as a Senior Contract Advisor for the Underground Project, building extensive expertise in contract management, governance and stakeholder engagement within one of the world’s most complex mining environments. She works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance project governance, portfolio visibility and performance execution across the underground business.
In 2023, Uyanga transferred to the Underground Technology Project team, where she has been responsible for implementing innovative technology projects and leading PMO functions that enable safer, smarter and more efficient underground mining operations. Many of these initiatives involve the deployment of emerging digital and automation solutions, introducing globally leading technologies to the underground mining industry for the first time. Through this work, she contributes to advancing operational excellence, risk management and safety performance across the business.

Bolor-Erdene Battulga is a project management and digital transformation professional with over 15 years of experience in banking, technology, digital product development and business transformation. At XacBank she has led and contributed to major initiatives including online lending, digital banking transformation, digital product development and corporate digital banking. Her experience includes working with cross-functional and international teams.
She is PMP and PMI-PBA certified and serves as Director of Professional Development at the PMI Mongolia Chapter, contributing to project management capability development and the growth of the project management community in Mongolia. Her interests include project leadership, digital transformation, business value, stakeholder management and delivering results in complex, changing environments.

Munkhzaya Batbaatar is a financial economist, academic leader and policy expert with more than 20 years of experience in Mongolia’s banking, finance, capital markets, research and higher education sectors.
She serves as Vice-President for Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Research at the University of Finance and Economics and as a Non-Executive Member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Mongolia. She also sits on several policy, regulatory, accreditation and corporate boards, contributing expertise in financial stability, governance, risk management, compliance and strategic decision-making.
She has led and contributed to around 40 research and advisory projects for government institutions, regulators, international organisations, financial institutions and private-sector organisations. Her interests include financial sector development and stability, monetary policy, ESG and business ethics, governance, risk and compliance, strategy and data-driven decision-making.
She holds a PhD in Business Administration and a Master of Banking and Finance from Monash University, Australia, where she studied as an Australia Awards scholar, and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional.

Usukhbayar Enkhjargal is Google’s Country Representative in Mongolia.
He has extensive international experience leading digital transformation, strategic planning, business process optimisation and the implementation of enterprise systems such as Oracle ERP and SAP across the United States, China, Mongolia, India and Germany.
Previously he was Business Development and Digital Transformation Manager at Taigiin Shand LLC and Namir Group / Khurd Group, and a Digital Transformation Specialist at Cummins Inc. in the United States. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Tselmeg Davaajav is a Senior Program Manager at Shunkhlai Holding, with professional experience in project planning, PMO, project and program management and organisational transformation.
He has worked across the stages of project and program delivery, progressing from project planning and PMO roles to his current position supporting strategic initiatives at the holding-company level. He is active in the PMI community and has contributed to PMI professional standards.

Enkhsaruul Mashsaikhan is a Business Development Manager at Premium Corporation with 11 years of experience across the banking, logistics, retail and manufacturing sectors. She mentors the next generation of business analysis and project professionals in the PMI Mongolia Chapter’s PMI-PBA Exam Prep Buddy Program.
She began her career as a Market Risk Analyst at Capital Bank and later held business analysis and financial management roles at Landbridge LLC and Digital Concept LLC. At Premium Corporation she leads initiatives involving vendor systems, concrete production and delivery systems and data governance implementation, serving as both Business Analyst and Project Manager.
Drawing on a career that has evolved from banking and financial analysis into business analysis, system development and project management, she will share her perspective on how the roles of business analysis and project professionals are evolving to create tangible value through projects.

Enkhsaikhan Narangerel is the CEO of EM Consulting LLC, with more than 15 years of experience in digital transformation, ERP implementation, business process modernisation and project management.
She has worked with organisations in oil and gas, mining, agriculture, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate and engineering, helping them modernise operations through cloud-based technologies, data-driven management and integrated ERP platforms. Her expertise spans digital strategy, business process redesign, organisational change management, solution architecture, stakeholder alignment and the delivery of large-scale ERP transformation programs.
She has led and contributed to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations for organisations including MCS Estates, Wellbee, Moncement Building Materials, Naran Mandal Enterprises, UL Equipment Co., MCS International and Mera, helping them unify finance, sales, procurement, inventory, fixed-asset and management reporting into more transparent, controlled and scalable digital operations. She leads EM Consulting with a mission to help Mongolian organisations move from traditional operations toward data-driven, automated and connected digital enterprises.
